Budget Now for FY2015!
Insufficient resources are a constant limitation to implementing security management in an organisation. That can change!
In collaboration with USAID, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and InterAction, Centre for Safety and Development (CSD) offers the first ever workshop in budgeting for security in proposals. Join us in this one-day session on 14 July in Washington, DC and slam dunk that security budget for the next fiscal year.
CSD USA Anniversary
Celebrating the six-month anniversary of its US office, Centre for Safety is proud of the opportunity to connect, support and advance the American NGO and development community.
High Level Partnerships
The Budgeting workshop is one of the projects Centre for Safety has been working on since opening its US office in January. Strong partnerships with the Harvard Humanitarian Academy (Global Security Management Course, September 10-12), InterAction (Budgeting for Security in Proposals, July 14), INSSA, Accord Network and InsideNGO exist and are being further developed. Traveller Safety
The US office supports different American organisations with advice and tailored training courses and offers quarterly personal level training for all overseas travellers through its Basic Safety and Security Course. 2014 dates are September 25-27 and November 6-8. Experience the perfect combination of intensive training and exceptional surroundings in Virginia.
Share an Advisor
Is your organisation not in the position or not large enough to hire a full-time Security Advisor? CSD USA brings organisations together so that they can share an advisor. You get the experience of a professional Security Director for the costs of a Program Assistant. On top of that, CSD takes care of the hiring process and other cumbersome HR paperwork so you have the benefits and not the bothers. It is possible to have your very own dedicated security professional.
