Care implements Security Information System SIMSON
This year Care International will implement SIMSON, CSD’s web based security information system. By using SIMSON Care International aims to improve its overall security management. Insight in security incidents, sharing of incidents and other security related information will be available.

In the next few months CSD will roll out a pilot together with CARE Australia to match the existing CARE security management system with Simson. After evaluating the outcomes, more CARE offices will be connected to the new system. This will give them access to essential information which is needed to operate in secure and insecure environments.
Simson continuously improves. In a few weeks’ time a map-based threat assessment tool will be included. This allows users to assess threats on a provincial level. This tools also allows SIMSON users to see the security compliance status of field offices directly on this map.
