Crisis Management
Imagine that one of your colleagues has been involved in a critical incident in an operating environment overseas.
As a member of a crisis management team, you will be required to provide care and support to your colleague. Are you up to the task?
To make sure your team is ready we offer the Crisis Team Training. During this training, your colleagues learn their roles & responsibilities and the foundations of crisis management.
This training is the basis for the Crisis Simulation or the Crisis Table-top.
The Crisis Simulation and Table-top make your colleagues aware of their specific responsibilities and improves their competencies to deal with a crisis.
It also allows you to test your crisis plan in different situations. This way, you can improve your crisis plan with the lessons learned before an actual crisis occurs.
Crisis Team Training
Managing a crisis is most effective when all team members have a solid theoretical background concerning crisis management.
During the Crisis Team Training you learn your role & responsibilities and the foundations of crisis management.
Topics:
- The foundational principles of crisis management
- The role and authority of the CMT in the organisation
- The difference between an incident and a crisis
- The characteristics of a crisis
- When to establish a CMT
- The roles and responsibilities of the team members
- To identify and understand the role of external stakeholders
- The tools and procedures for crisis management
- How the organise an effective first and second meeting
Crisis Simulation
During the Crisis Simulation, your crisis plan is tested in a near-real environment. Furthermore, participants from your Crisis Management Team (CMT) learn to explore and observe their personal reactions.
The simulation is a multi-media dynamic process. With the involvement of professional actors, the pressure on the team is intense and realistic.
At the end of the simulation, participants will be better prepared to deal with crisis situations. After the evaluation, your crisis plan can be improved using the lessons learned.
Crisis Table-top
The Crisis Table-top enables your staff with crisis management responsibility to train procedures and understand how to deal with a crisis.
It makes your colleagues aware of their specific responsibilities and improves their competencies to deal with a crisis.
The table-top allows you to test your crisis plan in different situations. This way, you can improve your crisis plan with the lessons learned.
The Crisis Table-top is desk-top based and is advised for new teams or teams with new members.
